Aurora: A Great Place for Business
|
|
Brian Molitoris Photographer, moved into Aurora about four years ago from Monument, Colorado. With the relatively small population in Monument, his business adapted to meet all photography services customers wanted. As a result, Brian’s photography business covers a large scope of work: family and personal portraits, weddings, family reunions, wedding anniversaries, events, commercial work (interiors, products, food), landscape, and abstract digital art.
Brian is taking advantage of the many business services the City of Aurora provides through the Aurora Business Development Center. Samples of his work can be found by following the links below; pictures being worth thousands of words:

“Aurora’s a great place for business”. Brian can be found at most Aurora Chamber events, including Business After Hours, Before Hours, Ribbon Cuttings, and those by Aurora Events Connection (AEC). The AEC held a benefit for The Children’s Hospital, “Fun at Fitz”, and presented a check to TCH for over $8,000. It's times like this that make running your own business worth all the extra effort.
Concerning Brian’s service, “I try to understand images that customers have in their minds, and help put them into a physical form.” Contact Brian at (303) 570-7857, or brianmolitorisphotographer@gmail.com.

Are You Sure You Know Your Customers?
|
Don’t market to everybody. Make sure you have a well-defined market segment that you understand. Know your customers. Can you define them by age, buying habits or other demographic? What product/service do they want…and need? How are they currently being serviced? By identifying your customers and meeting their needs better than the competition, you will be able to find your place in the market. The Aurora Business Development Center and the Aurora Central Library’s Business Resource Center can guide you toward a more creative and useful marketing plan.

Happy Lunar New Year! |
|
This is now officially the Year of the Ox. Each Asian culture, each region, and even each family has its own ceremonies, and some celebrate the New Year in different months, but the unifying concept is to sweep out the bad fortune and 'mess' of the previous year in order to start the new year fresh, in anticipation of prosperity and happiness. Sounds like a great plan for business, too!
Speaking of the Asian New Year, did you know that Dr. John Wu, physician & small business entrepreneur, won the Asian Chamber of Commerce Small Business Award in December 2008 for launching an Asian business web site called ABIDOOO.com? Check it out!
